Fees here are charged based on the type of application, complexity of the invention and how close it is to the prior art. Typical application preparation fee will range from N50,000 for a basic design application to 2 – 5 times that amount for a complicated chemical or electronic invention.  The quotation will include the preparation for technical specification, claims, drawings and all the other paperwork needed to get the patent issued.
NOTE:

• For ease of payment, clients are allowed to make an initial down payment of at least 50% of the prescribed fees and pay the balance on delivery.
• International clients remitting fees in dollars can do so based on the prevailing exchange rate of N140 to $1 (subject to change).
